Deep inside all new beginnings,
there breathes a song of "HOPE"...(flavia)
Earlier this year a young man, Patrick Haikal from Denver Colorado
died because of carcinoid cancer. He was the recipient of an
autographed “Tim Tebow Rookie and Foundation Card.
Tim
Tebow sent this precious gift to Patrick (Patrick a Bronco Fan as
well as Tim Tebow fan) as a gift because of Patrick’s brave and
difficult struggle with carcinoid cancer.
Before Patrick passed away, he and his wife, Kristin, determined they
would gift this “Tim Tebow Memento” to another carcinoid cancer
warrior from Colorado.
Patrick and Kristin have donated this Memento to the Colorado
Carcinoid Cancer Support Group for a drawing that will take place
August 4th, 2012 during the ‘Educational Event’ with Dr.
Eugene Woltering to be held at the Medical Center of the Rockies
following the Run for Hope 5k.
Tickets for this drawing may be purchased for $5.00 each by
contacting Lesley Compton (303-804-0659)
ronnierc1@msn.com or John/Jeanne Lambert (970-229-1366)
jj.lambert@comcast.net. You do not have to be present to
win this drawing.
The money from this generous gift will make it possible to continue to
bring educators/specialists to our beautiful state, bringing AWARENESS
and HOPE to those fighting this orphan disease, carcinoid cancer.
We thank you for your participation in the Run for Hope 5k, the
Educational Event with Dr. Eugene Woltering, August 4th
2012 and for the drawing of this selfless and poignant gift from
Patrick and Kristin Haikal the
“Tim Tebow Memento”.
